Lisa Evans, Ph.D.

Director of Research

 

Dr. Evans brings over 15 years of experience as a practitioner, researcher, and industry professional in the field of educational technology. She is currently leading the evaluation of the Nevada Technology Initiative, and a variety of technology grants in Texas. She complete Wexford's research and evaluation of a multi-state Star Schools project awarded to the Ohio Board of Regents, as well as an NSF-funded grant and a statewide educational technology initiative.

 

Her past work includes evaluation of multiple PT3 grants as well as one of the RTECs funded by the U.S. Department of Education. She has served as adjunct faculty at the University of Virginia and Marshall University Graduate College, teaching both face-to-face and online courses. Prior to pursuing her doctorate, Dr. Evans worked as the project manager for Classroom Prodigy, an online service for K-12 schools.

 

Dr. Evans earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles., a Master of Science in Educational Communication and Technology from New York University, and a Doctorate Degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Virginia.
