Program Development Consultant

 

Ms. Cook has over 35 years of in education in schools and districts in Arizona, Illinois, California, and Colorado. Her diverse teaching background  encompasses elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels. In leadership, Kelleen has served as Administrator Learning Coach, School Leadership Coach, Assistant Principal, Evaluation Coach, English Learner/Dual Language Specialist, Language Acquisition Specialist, ELD Facilitator Coordinator, and Bilingual Coordinator.

 

Kelleen has collaborated on the development of the California Language Arts Standards: Side by Side document for teaching for transfer, as part of the Biliteracy Work Group for the San Diego County Office of Education. Kelleen also developed Lunita, a sequel to Estrellita. She provides consultancy services to charters and school districts, focusing on enhancing English learner programs and initiatives.
