Wexford Centers

Wexford currently operates the following Centers, which review relevant research, and conduct evaluation, research, professional development, strategic development and technical assistance.

	The Center for High Achievement (CHA)
	The Center for High Achievement provides information and services on effective student interventions for English Learners, Standard English Learners, students with special needs and students from low-income families. We provide:
	•	Consultation and direct services for agencies working to close the achievement gap
	•	Programs for students, teachers, administrators and parents to improve student literacy and mathematical reasoning
	•	Products that support various research based behavioral interventions
	•	Products and services to support the education of individuals with autism
	•	Interventions for preK - 12
	•	High quality professional development for educators, parents and paraprofessionals
	•	Parent involvement programs
	The Center for Leadership and High Quality Education (CLHQE)
	The Center for Leadership and High Quality Education provides direct services to school districts and agencies to support school improvement. We provide:
	•	Research-based professional development opportunities for teachers, administrators, state agencies and local agencies
	•	New teacher and continuing teacher professional development programs focused on skill development
	•	Access to information on best practice for alternative compensation systems
	•	Analysis of key studies and provides policy recommendations based on sound educational research and outreach strategies
	•	Forums that explore key educational questions
	•	Strategic and systemic change strategies to local school districts
	•	Training that supports the implementation of proven school improvement strategies for subgroup populations
	The Center for Research and Evaluation (CRE)
	The Center for Research and Evaluation utilizes staff expertise and web-based capabilities to support a partnership model to provide research and evaluation services to individuals, local school districts, educational agencies, state departments of education and corporate entities. We provide:
	•	Research-based information related to interventions and strategies to support clients in improving student achievement and school success
	•	Strategic planning that uses a data-feedback loop to improve action plans
	•	Ongoing monitoring and analysis of program implementation
	•	Development of a customized Quality Assurance process to insure quality of products and services
	•	Real-time progress reports based on performance measures
	•	Ongoing data collection related to indicators that directly inform project decisions and project management
	•	Iterative design-based research
	•	Scientifically-based research
	•	Synthesis of project information to support systemic change
	Solomon Center for Educational Technology and Distance Learning (SCETDL)
	The Solomon Center provides direct services for the implementation and integration of technology and distance learning in PreK-16 environments. We provide:
	•	Links to online resources for teaching and learning
	•	Online courses for paraprofessionals, teachers, administrators, parents
	•	Evaluation of online and blended online/onsite programs
	•	Evaluation findings related to integration of technology
	•	Links to PreK-16 entities that successfully integrate technology in support of teaching and learning
