Wexford
Institute is a nonprofit educational agency. It was founded
in 1996 to build bridges of understanding and create excellent
and equitable learning opportunities for all children. For
over a decade, Wexford has partnered with K-12, intermediate,
post-secondary and other agencies nationwide to address and
promote important educational change.
Nationally
recognized for collaboration, innovation and service, Wexford
is a leader in the use of research-based methods to accomplish
identified outcomes, including improved teaching and learning.
Through years of conducting research and evaluation studies
and providing program oversight, Wexford has gained a strong
understanding about what strategies, interventions and practices
are most effective in increasing and improving educational
opportunities for all learners.
Wexford
has learned that successful educational programs and services
are built upon five bridges of understanding: research, evaluation,
development, training and dissemination. While providing
guidance, technical assistance and other services, Wexford
specializes in meeting the needs of underperforming schools
and underserved populations. Wexford helps schools close
the achievement gaps that have traditionally existed for
English language learners, standard English learners, students
from low-income families and students with disabilities.
Wexford
assists agencies in creating systemic change, and developing
and improving products and services for their clients. Our
highly customized and user-friendly processes help agencies
to understand issues, identify solutions and creatively implement
decision making guided by research and ongoing evaluation.
Wexford’s client-centered solutions are enhanced by
expertise in cutting-edge technologies and multilingual-multiethnic
environments, and are designed to facilitate more meaningful,
measurable and impactful outcomes.
